An exquisite handblown Murano glass table lamp by master glass artist Pino Signoretto. This heavy Murano vase lamp is handcrafted and decorated with black and white details and signed at the bottom. An unique piece!

Pino Signoretto is a contemporary Italian glass artist. He uses traditional Murano glassblowing techniques to depict animals, pop-culture icons, and art historical eras. Born on September 28, 1944 in Venice, Italy, he first began glassblowing as an apprentice of Alfredo Barbini. After his apprenticeship, the artist began working in the technical and commercial glassblowing industry.

Since the mid-1980s, Signoretto has been internationally recognized for his work, with exhibitions and teaching demonstrations all over the world. He has gone on to consult and fabricate work for numerous contemporary artists, including Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, Kiki Smith, and Jeff Koons. Signoretto lives and works in Murano, Italy.
