Ado Chale Peppercorn Console Table
on request
A rare poivre/peppercorn console table by Ado Chale, showing his characteristic way of working with rare natural materials. The rectangular top is inlaid with halved Madagascar peppercorns (poivre), set in clear resin and framed by a warm fruitwood border. The exposed structure of the peppercorns creates a subtle graphic pattern with remarkable depth, texture and variation across the surface.
The console stands on two black lacquered steel tripod legs, one of Chale’s signature elements, bringing a light architectural balance to the composition while contrasting beautifully with the organic richness of the top.
Signed on the side.
