A large monochrome pitcher vase by Jacques Pouchain for Atelier Dieulefit, produced in the South of France in the 1950s. The form is tall and restrained, with a quiet, architectural clarity that reflects Pouchain’s background.

A single hand-painted rooster animates the surface, subtle, almost graphic, set against a deep, lustrous glaze. The contrast between the minimal silhouette and the playful motif gives the piece its distinct character.
